Session 2|SMALL Moves, Stronger EMI
Time: Monday, November 16, 12:00–13:30
Drawing on the speaker's hands-on EMI experience, this talk offers a ready-to-use toolkit built around the four "SMALL moves" strategies: Scaffolding, Motivation, Active Learning, and Languaging. Through classroom examples and interactive practice, it will help you build an EMI classroom that is clearer, more engaging, and more meaningful for students.
Session 3|From Text to Connection: Making EMI Reading Active

This workshop draws on authentic teaching materials from the course "Bilingual Media Communication." Using interactive strategies such as Think–Pair–Share, the Frayer Model, and Gallery Walk, supported by sentence-frame scaffolding, participants will experience and refine EMI lesson design first-hand, and learn the key to balancing "teachers' teaching focus vs. students' learning lifelines."
