The EMI pedagogy is unique in that it requires an adjustment in teaching style: from lecture-based to guiding and interacting with students.
An EMI instructor will need to receive training in suitable pedagogy methods to enhance EMI learning outcomes.
As a part of the EMI Support Unit, aside from course design advice, pedagogical training, teaching resources and materials, language support, and consultation services, we will also provide resources and guidance to assist faculty in improving their EMI instruction methods. These experiences will be continuously shared and passed on through workshops and learning groups to empower and enhance teaching capabilities of the NCCU EMI teaching community.
